Excellent Read!

If you're interested in the Vietnam War, than it's imperative that you read this book.

Set in October 1967, this details the ambush of American troops in Vietnam on 17 October, 1967, as well as the anti-war protests at Madison University in the surrounding days.

The book starts out introducing the soldiers. Eventually, it introduces the protesters at Madison, the Johnson administration, and even the Viet Cong regiment that ambushed the Black Lions.

Really, anybody who has any interest at all in the Vietnam War, the controversy surrounding it, the anti-war protests, or life in the 60s, should read this.

Pretty useless...

This cd is pretty much a waste of space. Ten-Pole Tudor attempts vocals on a few songs, which just need to be automatically skipped. Sid Vicious doing My Way is excellent, but it can be found on various other cds.

A Great Followup to Volume 1

Volume 1 gives you the songs you hear on Time Life collection infomercials every Saturday night, and this gives you some lesser-known, but still great, tracks.

Ballad of a Teenage Queen is cheesy, as is the studio version of I Still Miss Someone (please please listen to a live version before you skoff at this great song). Bird on a Wire is amazing, as are the songs produced by Rick Rubin, such as Unchained and In the Sweet By and By. The Ballad of Ira Hayes is moving, and Don't Take Your Guns to Town is one that should be played on the aforementioned infomercials. If you're new to Cash, and have listened to Volume 1, give Volume 2 a listen if you're too short on cash (no pun intended) for a box set.

A Great Collection

I am usually disappointed with Greatest Hits collections, but in the case of this collection, I'll make an exception.

This is probably the best Greatest Hits album I have ever heard. It has great tracks from every major phase of Cash's career; from Sun Records to American Recordings.

I grew up listening to these songs, and to have them all on one disk is great. Of course it is lacking, as any greatest hits collection will be, but Volume 2 sums it up fairly well.

Best Fictional Historical Movie Ever!

Despite the fact that this movie is more inaccurate than internet rumors regarding the assassination of Osama bin Laden, it's still pretty gosh darn good. The art, like all Disney movies, is exceptional, and the music just rocks meh face off. The story moves well and although it may be a bit traumatic for youngsters, it's still pretty gosh darn great.

I don't care about graphics....

...this right here is the best baseball game I have ever played! I don't need state of the art graphics, where Alex Rodriguez looks more like Alex Rodriguez than Alex Rodriguez does, all I need is this game.

I have wasted so much of my life hunched over the Nintendo controller playing Tetris. This is the only game you need on your phone, Gameboy, Nintendo, computer, whatever; simply because it is just so fun...and addicting!

Love it!

I absolutely love this movie.

I love the dialogue.
I love the way it's shot.
I love the music.
I love the plot.
I love the characters.
I love the characters' growth.
I love the plot development.
I love the ending.
I love the end titles.

This is a beautiful movie, with beautiful locations, beautiful people, and beautiful music.

Cheesy, but decent

I was really excited when I found this dvd in my local library, I was expecting a great cowboy movie with Johnny Cash, and some great music. I was disappointed when I realised that this was not, in fact, a cowboy movie, but just an old cheesy black and white movie about a bank robbing. I loved the story, even though the acting wasn't great (if Cash hadn't been on amphetamines it wouldn't've been half as good as it is, though), and the ending sucked. The banker should've just ran off with his "other woman" and left his wife to die. Then it would've gotten ten stars.

Horrible

I bought this album expecting some good bass to test out my system, and I was sorely disappointed. Instead of having some good bass tracks, there's a whole lot of terrible high-pitched female screaming, horrendous computer generated "music," and very little deep bass. There is only one song, number 19, that has decent bass, from low to high frequencies, which is why I keep this terrible cd.
